There are 57 muscles in the face, head, neck and ears. People often exercise the body to stay toned and firm, but why not the face too?

Unfortunately, as we get older, gravity takes effect, we lose muscle tone and fat pads and the production of collagen and elastin slows down. If we exercise the face correctly, the muscles become stronger and the skin attached becomes tightened and taughtened, smoothing or preventing lines/wrinkles on the skin and lifting areas of the face to create a more youthful look. The good news is that as the face muscles are relatively small, they become bigger and stronger more quickly (replacing lost face fat, effectively putting the stuffing back in to make the face appear fuller), so results can be seen fairly quickly too.
